• Sept.: Prof. Kikuo Okuyama was granted the Fuchs Memorial Award from the International Aerosol Research Assembly.

• 「CVDプロセスで発生する パーティクルの計測とクリーン化」がSTARCの2000年 度共同研究テーマに選ばれました。 STARC(Semiconductor Technology Academic Research Center) は(株)半導体理工学研究センターで、日本の半導体 会社１１社が投資した会社。 | =Particle Measurement and Clean Technology in CVD Process= was selected as STARC project, 1999-2000.
• Bin Xia (from Dept. of Chemistry, Peking Univ.) joined as JSPS Postdoc Fellow.
• April: Ferry Iskandar (from Kanazawa Univ.) and Mikrajuddin Abdullah (from Institut Teknologi Bandung ITB) started Doctoral program.

1998
