The principal objective of the graduate curriculum and research is to integrate a student's area of emphasis- whether it be molecular level analysis, design, and development of functional materials, and development of chemical process technology -into the whole of materials chemistry as a system.
We have "clustered" our research areas into the three major courses: Applied Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, and Green Chemistry. Each research group cooperates on the basis of a concept "eco-friendly chemistry".
A glance at the list of lab and faculty will reveal a wealth of opportunity for graduate students to develop the skills and abilities needed for a vigorous career in their chosen field. (To be admitted to the Graduate School of Engineering for the Master and Doctor programs, student must also find a Professor willing to supervise his/her studies.)
