Africa-Asia University Dialogue for Educational Development(“A-A Dialogue”) project has been implemented since 2004 in cooperation with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the United Nations University (UNU), and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) with the Center for the Study of International Cooperation in Education (CICE), Hiroshima University, Japan functioning as the secretariat. This Dialogue has been aiming for research and educational collaboration among 18 African universities and 12 Asian universities. UNESCO highly evaluated this Dialogue as an example of good practice in which Higher Education is contributing to the development and enhancement of Education for All (EFA) and as an example of a network of excellence and project where African institutions are engaged in an international level of cooperation. The Dialogue was invited and asked by UNESCO to make a presentation on it at UNESCO World Conference on Higher Education in Paris (July 5 to 8,2009) At the Conference, we presented on the AA-Dialogue at the Session on “Higher Education and EFA” and informed participants on the dialogue by pasting the poster at the Exhibition throughout the Conference. By doing this, we could appeal the Dialogue and Hiroshima University effectively to the participants.
