- Development of the enviromental-friendly microanalytical system on the basis of electrophoresis method
- Theoretical exploration of capillary electrophoresis (CE) and microchip electrophoresis (MCE) and their analytical application
- Development of surface analysys system by using X-ray

Electrophoresis Group
- Fundamental research of highly sensitive and reproducible analysis by using CE
- Development of the on-line preconcentration method (Electrokinetic supercharging, EKS) for high-sensitive CE and MCE
- Development of microchips for high performance microchip electrophoresis (MCE) and application for the analysis of DNA and proteins
