The Achievement of ICT Society whose advantages are in common to anyone, anywhere, and anytime.
Among the governmental approaches to sustain the public prosperity even under the aging society with low birthrate and longevity maintained, ICT-led medical reform is prioritized in order to provide efficient healthcare service to all people. Considering the common circumstances of developed nations, we should expand the standardization of terminologies and management processes of ICT systems. Then, based on the more assured system stability, more availability can be provided. At the same time, it is crucial to ensure ethical use of healthcare information and system security with the aim of protecting the dignity of every individual.
Meanwhile, WHO reported that the majority of developing nations is facing the difficulties emerging in local communities. Specifically, the available medical resources do not meet the public requirement that preserves the living environment and support healthcare services. How to develop ICT to improve such disadvantages is critical questions.
