Scientific Program (abstract is not included)
For oral speakers, your allotted time in the program includes five minutes for discussion. LCD and over-head projectors are available for your oral presentation. If you are an LCD user, you are kindly requested to check the connection to your PC in advance.
For poster presenters, the size of your poster board will be 90cm (width) x 120cm (height). To fix your poster on the board, pins and tapes will be provided at the registration desk. We recommend for the poster presenters to display your poster on Thursday and to remove it by the end of the academic session on Saturday.
The registration desk will be open at 15:00 on Wednesday November 16 at Faculty Club, Hiroshima University. An informal get-together-party will be starting around 17:30 at Restaurant "Cotton Club" in front of On-Campus Post Office (see the map below).

The Workshop will be held in Faculty Club at the Higashi-Hiroshima Campus of Hiroshima University located 30km east from the center of Hiroshima city.

Call for Papers
Those who wish to present a paper at the Workshop should submit one-page abstract by e-mail. The abstract should be directed to iscoe@hiroshima-u.ac.jp by September 1, 2005. Authors are kindly requested to use a tex file abstract.tex as a template of your abstract. Abstract booklet is available for all the participants at the Workshop.
Authors are also requested to submit a manuscript for the Workshop Proceedings, which will be published in a special issue of Physica B by Elsevier Science. The length of the manuscript may not exceed the limit, 4 printed pages for the invited papers and 2 printed pages for the contributed papers. Please read the instruction below carefully for details to prepare the manuscript and send your submission information appropriately described in the form (SUBMISSION-FORM.doc or SUBMISSION-FORM.pdf) and three copies of the manuscript together with its electronic version in CD-R (preferred) or 3.5 inch FD to the Secretariat by ordinary mail no later than November 1, 2005.

Registration and Accommodation
Participants are kindly requested to register in advance to the Workshop. Please fill the registration form and send to iscoe@hiroshima-u.ac.jp by October 1, 2005.
The registration fees for regular participants and students are 30000 and 10000 yen, respectively, including participation in all scientific programs, workshop materials and banquet. The fee for the regular participant also includes one copy of the Proceedings. Accompanying person(s) wishing to attend the Banquet should pay 10000 yen. All the payments should be made in Japanese cash at the Registration desk of the Workshop. No personal check or credit card will be accepted.
Limited numbers of guest rooms are being held for participants and accompanying person(s)
at Faculty Club (single rooms only) and hotels nearby. Rates are between a range of 4000 and 8000 yen per person.
Participants wishing to book a room should include your preference of the room and travel information in the registration form. Reservations will be made on a first-come and first-served basis.
