- Hiroaki Mukaidani was born in Japan in 1969.
He received the B.S. degree in integrated arts and sciences from Hiroshima
University in 1992 and the M.S. and the Ph.D. degree in information
Engineering form Hiroshima University, Hiroshima, Japan in 1994 and 1997,
respectively. In April 1998, he joined the faculty of information
science at Hiroshima City University as a research associate. Since April 2002,
he has been with the Graduate School of Education, Hiroshima University as an
Assistant Professor, and an Associate Professor.
Currently, he became Full Professor in Hiroshima University, Graduate School of Engineering from April 2012.
His research interests are in the area of robust control and its application
of singularly perturbed system. Dr. Mukaidani is a member of the
Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), the Institute of
Electrical Engineers of Japan (IEEJ), and the Society of Instrument and Control
Engineers of Japan (SICE).
