Proterozoic investigation @India
(Dec. 5-20, 2024)

We visited India to conduct research on Proterozoic sedimentary rocks. First, we visit to the Delhi University, which was our base of operations. During our stay, our meals consisted mainly of curry. It was delicious, but after two weeks of eating it, we started to get tired of it.
The first half of the investigation was spent for Pandey-san's research, mapping and collecting samples as we climbed the hills. This season, there were many thorny plants, which made things difficult.
Just like in the city, there are many wild animals such as monkeys in the mountains. We head towards the outcrop along a rural footpath.
The second half of the investigation was spent for Sato-san's research. With kind permission from the minin company, we were able to investigate the phosphate mine.
This time, we traveled by sleeper train a total of four times. After returning to Delhi, we enjoyed some food other than curry at a fast food restaurant.
