Gave a lecture at 14th EURADOS Winter School

Prof. Yasuda gave a lecture entitled “Possible effects of space radiation exposure on the reproductive system and fetal development” at the 14th Winter School of European Radiation Dosimetry Group (EURADOS) which was held online on 3-4 February 2021. The theme of the School was “Fetal radiation risk: dose assessment in occupational, medical and emergency situations”.  The lecture is available on YouTube (3:02~).

Made presentation at the IAEA Conference on radiation safety

Prof. Yasuda made a presentation entitled “Practical approach for radiological protection in aviation – how can we assess the cosmic radiation exposures of individual flyers?” in the session of existing exposure situations (session 15) at the IAEA’s “International Conference on Radiation Safety: Improving Radiation Protection in Practice” which was held online on 9-20 November 2020.

4th HU-NU-FMU Joint Symposium was held

We have successfully hosted 4th International Symposium of the Network-type Joint Usage/Research Center for Radiation Disaster Medical Science on 12 February 2020 at the Kojin-kaikan Conference Hall in the Kasumi campus of Hiroshima University with the theme “How can we communicate possible health effects in radiological emergency?“.
