Ms. Sama Azariasl and Prof. Yasuda presented their research works at EPRBiodose2024 (2024 International Conference on EPR and Biological Dosimetry) held in Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture, Japan from September 25th to 28th, 2024.
Ms. Welti and Prof. Yasuda made oral presentations at the 20th International Conference on Solid State Dosimetry (SSD20) which was held on 17-22 September 2023 in Viarregio, Italy.
Prof. Yasuda made a presentation entitled “Application of optically stimulated luminescence from thin materials for assessing non-homogeneous radiation exposure” at the IAEA Second International Conference on Applications of Radiation Science and Technology (ICARST-2022) which was held on 22-26 August 2022 in Vienna, Austria.
Dr. Chryzel Angeilca B. Gonzales earned the honor as a recipient of the Best Presentation Award at 6th International Symposium of the Network-type Joint Usage/Research Center for Radiation Disaster Medical Science held virtually on 7 February 2022.
Dr. C.A.B. Gonzales made a presentation about the fingernail dosimetry at the IAEA technical meeting “Technical Meeting on Radiation in Medicine Communications and Methodologies – International Perspectives and the Role of Science, Technology and Society in Low-Dose Radiation Settings” which was held online on 9-11 November 2021.
Prof. Yasuda gave a lecture entitled “Possible effects of space radiation exposure on the reproductive system and fetal development” at the 14th Winter School of European Radiation Dosimetry Group (EURADOS) which was held online on 3-4 February 2021. The theme of the School was “Fetal radiation risk: dose assessment in occupational, medical and emergency situations”. The lecture is available on YouTube (3:02~).
Prof. Yasuda made a presentation entitled “Practical approach for radiological protection in aviation – how can we assess the cosmic radiation exposures of individual flyers?” in the session of existing exposure situations (session 15) at the IAEA’s “International Conference on Radiation Safety: Improving Radiation Protection in Practice” which was held online on 9-20 November 2020.
