I did not miss the opportunity to join the 2023 Transportation Research Board (TRB) 102nd Annual Meeting at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Washington, DC, with others (my senior and lecturers; Nagasaka san, Hyewon sensei, Varun sensei, Hong sensei,\u00a0 Chikaraishi sensei and Fujiwara sensei). It was my first time attending an International level of conference and I am going to admit that the entire conference experience was incredible- such a privilege for me to be able to attend. Hyewon sensei presented at the lectern session of Public Transport Resilience in the Face of Disruptive Change with a presentation entitled Small and Medium-Sized Taxi Firm Operators Stated Choices of Future Business Models: A Case Study in Japan Based on Hybrid Choice Model with Panel Effects (Authors, Namgung, H., Fujiwara, A.). She also presented at the lectern session of Light Rail Safety and Accessibility with a work entitled Perceived Safety on Connected Light Rail Transit B<\/span>us and Autonomous Vehicle in a Transit Mall Setting: Analysis Based on Experimental and Hybrid Choice Model Approach\u00a0(Authors, Namgung, H., Fujiwara, A., Chikaraishi, M.)\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

Hong sensei presented at the poster session of Information and Communication Technologies, Activity Participation and Travel Choices on a work entitled Exploring Acceptance of Buying Online, Pickup in Store Service in Self-Driving Society: A Case Study in Hiroshima, Japan. Nagasaka san presented at the poster session of Infrastructure Resilience and Disaster Response on a work entitled An Analysis of Evacuation Decision Making During Heavy Rainfall Disasters Using a Dynamic Discrete Choice Model with Situation Redefinition.(Authors, Nagasaka, N., Fujiwara, A., Chikaraishi, M., Sakata, K.)\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n
