こんにちは、清家美帆(せいけみほ)と申します。

私は安全工学・防災工学を主体として、大きな閉鎖空間で火災があった際の避難実験を行っています。

私は機械・流体工学出身ですが、今は土木に所属しており、防災計画や安全工学を主体として研究しています。私自身機械出身で土木に所属と、比較的新しい融合分野になります。

これは何故かといいますと、防災・安全は分野関係なく皆が必要とするものだからです。
防災・安全の中でも、特に「人間」に着目して研究を進めています。火災を主体としてますが、様々な災害に興味を持っていただきたいので、積極的に過去の災害遺構見学やボランティアに参加しています。
研究は実験主体なので体力と数学を用いて実施します。海外との交流や国際会議での発表にも力を入れています。

I am Miho Seike, an associate professor of Hiroshima University. My major is safety engineering, especially evacuation behaviour experimental investigation in Large Enclosed Space Fire Safety (LES-FS) like smoke filled tunnel, and underground safety.
The evacuation, rescue, and fire-fighting activities that may occur in large enclosed space such as tunnels and undergrounds space present a very difficult challenge as even small incidents have a high possibility of causing significant losses. From these backgrounds, our research focuses on smoke’s and evacuees’ behaviors in tunnel fires by experiments and simulations. My lab. focuses on “Human” so I’m very happy that you are interested in various field. My field work is in experiments. I am interested in volunteer activities to pick up the real issue in the disaster. So physical power and mathematics are necessary for us. Target Evacuation behavior for risk assessment in smoke, quantitative fire safety assessment(micro to macro), firefighters risk assessment.

Research I successfully get the grant from JST and JSPS-Kakenhi, and I collaborate with Domestic and International universities.
