Strictly follow all\nwritten and verbal instructions.&nbsp; If you do not understand, <strong>ASK YOUR SUPERVISOR OR SENIORS BEFORE\nPROCEEDING WITH THE EXPERIMENT<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Everything (knowledge, protocol, experimental implementations, etc.) should be clear and clean before, during and after doing an experiment in the laboratory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3.\nConduct yourself in a responsible manner at all times in the laboratory. Be\nprepared for your work in the laboratory.&nbsp; Read all procedures thoroughly\nbefore entering the laboratory.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4.\nPerform ONLY those experiments authorized by your Supervisor.&nbsp;Unauthorized\nexperiments ARE NOT allowed.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5.\nExperiments MUST BE ALWAYS personally monitored.&nbsp;DO NOT wander around the\nroom, distract, startle other students or interfere with the laboratory\nexperiments of others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6. Carefully check the label on all chemical bottles (AT LEAST TWICE) before removing any of the contents.\u00a0Take only an adequate amount of chemicals as you need for an experiment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7.NEVER&nbsp;return\nunused chemicals to their original container.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>8.\nLabels and equipment instructions MUST BE read carefully before use.&nbsp; Set\nup and use the equipment as directed by your supervisor or mentors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>9. Properly dispose of all chemical wastes according to the IDEC and University rules.\u00a0 NEVER mix chemicals in sink drains.\u00a0 Sinks are to be used for water only. Disposal of all chemicals and solutions MUST BE consulted with supervisors or seniors in advance.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>10.\nReport every accident (spill, breakage, etc.) or injury (cut, burn, etc.) to your\nleader or seniors immediately, no matter how trivial it seems.&nbsp; DO NOT\npanic.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>11. All activities as offenses, damage, negligence, harassment, and defamation are STRICTLY PROHIBITED in the lab. Immediately report to supervisors or Student Support Office when you encounter such kind of these circumstances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>12.\nDO NOT eat food, drink beverages, or chew gum in the experimental\nlaboratory.&nbsp; DO NOT use laboratory glassware as containers for food or\nbeverages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ALL\nXUAN LAB\u2019S MEMBERS MUST COMPLETELY PERCEIVE AND OBEY THIS RULE!<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>1.
