Abstract Format

Abstracts should be single spaced in 12 point Times Roman (or Times) font (except as noted below) and should fit entirely within a17 cm x 25 cm (6.7" x 9.8") space on a single page. Electronic submission in MS Word (98 or earlier version) as an email attachment is the preferred mode of submission; a PDF version should also be submitted, especially in cases where the Abstract is too large for transmission in the form of a MS Word document, or if it contains embedded graphics, equations or characters that cannot be read on our computers. Abstracts submitted in hard copy form on high quality white paper are also acceptable and should be sent to the address given below. Please choose either electronic or hard copy submission and do not send the same abstract both by mail and as an email attachment. It is recommended that a brief professional biography or curriculum vitae (a maximum of one page in length) be included with the abstract as a separate document or on a separate page. Abstracts accepted for presentation as oral papers or posters will be collected in a book of abstracts that will be made available to all registrants at the time of the Workshop.

1 = centered on page; all in boldface and UPPERCASE LETTERS, size 14 font
2 = the name of the individual who is to deliver the paper should be underlined; the principal author may be designated by an *asterisk
3 = all in size 12> plain font, centered on page, upper and lower case letters
4 = should follow on a separate line (or lines)
5 = paragraphs indented by 4 spaces
