いよいよ、バスに乗り込みます。参加者の確認をします。 We are checking the attendance for the departure !

HUSAボランティアリーダー Davidさんが、日本語英語で自己紹介をしています。 「皆さん、おはようございます！」 HUSA Volunteer Leader is greeting everyeone! 安芸灘大橋を渡るころには、呉や蒲刈の歴史の紹介がありました。 He also introduced the history of Kure and Kamagari when we were crossing the Akinada Bridge. Thank you for your great guide!

そして、下蒲刈に到着。呉市役所の観光振興課長から”Nice to meet you!” ”Welcome!”の元気なご挨拶がありました。 下蒲刈市民センター前には、呉市の皆様、蒲刈観光ボランティアガイドの皆様、呉観光協会の皆様が待っていてくださいました。 Thank you so much for your warm welcome!

江戸時代の茶室を移築した「白雪楼」にてお茶会を体験。 HUSA students enjoyed the traditional tea ceremony in the historical building of Edo period.

江戸時代、朝鮮通信使が来日した際の盛大な歓迎を再現した松濤園を見学。 蒲刈観光ボランティアガイドの皆様よりご説明をいただきました。David さんも日本語と英語でガイドに挑戦しました。 ‘Shotoen’ recreated the warm welcome of Korean envoys to the Island during the Edo period.

安芸灘交流館にて昼食。そこにはまた呉市職員の皆様が待っていてくださいました。 Thank you for your assistance throughout the trip…

そして、呉市産業部観光振興課長のご案内で、安芸灘交流館1Fにある「みかんメッセージ館」へ。蒲刈のみかん農業への熱い思いを感じました。 In the ‘Citrus Message Museum’we could feel the passion of growing tangerines in the Island.

そして、大崎下島の御手洗訪問。 呉市の観光振興課の皆様とともに、グループでガイド説明を受けつつ古い歴史の残る御手洗を散策しました。 NHK「プロフェッショナル」で紹介された腕利きの時計職人のお店も立ち寄りました。 We visited various areas in Mitarasi with the guide of Tourism Promotion Section of Kure City Hall - shrines, historical buildings, the old watch shop where the great watch craftsman has been repairing watches sent from various parts of Japan - this craftsman was introduced in the NHK TV Program - ‘Professional’ on June 8, 2015.

そして、最後は下蒲刈「輝きの館」での温泉とB&G;蒲刈海洋センターでのソフトバレーボール大会です。 「呉市役所＆恒松チーム vs HUSA留学生＆日本人学生」で試合をしました。結果は。。。。 Lastly, enjoying onsen and soft volleyball tournament - Kure City Office & Tsunematsu Team beated HUSA Students & Japanese Students Team !

そして、最後に「輝きの館」前で記念撮影。 呉市産業部観光振興課の皆様、ご支援くださった呉市の皆様、蒲刈の皆様、温かいおもてなしと歓迎を本当にありがとうございました。 心に残る旅となりました。いつまでも留学生の思い出となることでしょう。 皆様、本当にありがとう！！ Thank you so much for your warm welcome!!
