Research Overview
The Synchrotron Radiation Physics Group focuses on the design and research of particle accelerators, as well as the development of new light generation methods using accelerators and the study of material properties using this light. We also engage in outreach activities using cutting-edge technologies such as machine learning for autonomous accelerator operation and VR technology. In particular, we are actively involved in researching the next-generation light source at "HiSOR," the only synchrotron facility in Japan held by a national university. Our research contributes to the development of synchrotron science and aims to build the foundation for next-generation accelerator technologies.
