★これまでに、植物病原土壌細菌であるAgrobacterium rhizogenes の発根遺伝子の解析を行ってきました。また、発根遺伝子の導入やヒトの糖ヌクレオチド輸送体遺伝子などの外来異種遺伝子を導入した植物に新たな機能が見られ ることを見出しています。
