スマトラ沖地震，津波の被害を受けたタイ南部の漁村の様子を紹介します。現地で 撮影した写真とともに，漁村の被害状況についても資料をのせています。東南アジアの水産資源利用と管理について研究している私たちに，今，一体なにができるのだろうと考えているところです。 　写真と資料を提供してくれたのは，タイ人研究者のパタリーヤさん（日本学術振興会の外国人特別研究員），ワンタナさん（留学生）です。

National aid plan for rehabilitating fisheries sectors: Dept of Fisheries> subsidize 2,000 baht per head to damaged fishers for daily expense ・provide 20,000 baht per head to fishers owned fishing boat with length < 10m ・provide70,000 baht per head to fishers owned fishing boat with length > 10 m ・provide 150 baht per sq.m about 80 sq.m of aquacultures (12,000-20,000 baht)
