Rain disaster

We had heavy rain from 5th July 2018 until 8th evening. Lab members and I went to a restaurant near to Saijo station and held a dinner party. The heavy rain didn’t stop and hazard alert of all mobiles suddenly rang throughout in the restaurant. However we continued dinner and back by two cabs. The rain continued all the night.

Though we didn’t notice any problems at night, we saw a huge landslide was occurred nearby our residence in the morning.

In our town, multiple paved roads have been broken or blocked and so physical distribution has been stopped. But we are OK because we have no problem on electricity and water. My family and I are also fine and no problem.

I pray for people who died in more difficult places inside and outside Hiroshima prefecture and pray people who are still facing difficulties will be able to return to their daily lives ASAP!
