We participated in the 45th Molecular Biology Society of Japan

We participated in the Molecular Biology Society of Japan held at Makuhari Messe on November 30 – December 2, 2022. We mainly gave explanations about the resources and how to use them at the NBRP Clawed Frog and Newt exhibit booth. Regarding presentations, the following poster presentation was given by graduate student Nusrat Hossain.

[1P-542] Development of Xenopus as a high-throughput modeling system for human diseases caused by non-coding mutations
Nusrat Hossain, Takeshi Igawa, Makoto Suzuki, Nanoka Suzuki, Hajime Ogino (Amph. Res. Center, Grad. Sch. of Int. Sci. Life, Hiroshima Univ.)

I also participated in the annual soccer tournament. It was a long time after I played a full-court game in the last time, and I mainly played center back for the NIBB team and ran as much as I could (but I had some physical problems afterwards). It was a lot of fun to meet old friends after a long time.
