BUILDING DIGNITY YAHATA

60周年を前に、その歴史に終止符が打たれようとしている村野藤吾設計の八幡図書館。
解体を前に、ともすれば地味で注目を浴びにくい建築であった建物に、原色の光で文字通り光を当てるきっかけを作る試みです。
当時西日本工業大学の同僚であった臼井敬太郎との共同作品。
