We hope that their time at Xuan Lab and Hiroshima University has provided them with a solid academic foundation and essential skills that will support their future careers. We are confident that they will continue to excel and make meaningful contributions to their respective fields.

All lab members with Dr. Zarif and Dr. Vongdala

We sincerely wish them continued success, good health, and happiness for both themselves and their families.

Dr. LA Hoang Anh has made an honorable transition to another institution

We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere appreciation and best wishes to Dr. La Hoang Anh, who will soon be moving to Sophia Agrobiotech Institute (ISA), INRAE, Université Côte d’Azur, CNRS, France, to continue his outstanding academic journey. Dr. Anh has been an invaluable member of our laboratory, contributing not only through his impressive research achievements but also through his unwavering support and mentorship of our students. With over 30 published academic articles, Dr. Anh has established himself as a leading researcher in the field of natural products, with particular expertise in allelochemicals, anti-chronic disease agents, and anti-blood cancer agents. His work has opened new pathways in natural compound research with applications in health and agriculture.

Beyond his research, Dr. Anh has played a crucial role as a sub-supervisor, guiding numerous master’s and Ph.D. students with dedication and kindness. His thoughtful advice, technical expertise, and tireless encouragement have been deeply appreciated by all members of our lab. It is also worth highlighting that Dr. Anh’s excellence has been recognized through two consecutive Excellent Student Awards from Hiroshima University, reflecting his exceptional talent and hard work.

Although we are sad to see Dr. Anh leave our laboratory, we are excited to follow his future successes and are confident that he will continue to make significant contributions to his field. On behalf of all the lab members, we sincerely thank Dr. Anh for his incredible contributions and wish him all the best in his new chapter. Please keep in touch, and we hope our paths will cross again soon.
