On July 9, 2025, we successfully held the #1 TSG (Transport Studies Group) Seminar at MiraiCrea Hall, Hiroshima University. The event brought together researchers, students, and faculty members for an afternoon of insightful presentations and discussions on cutting-edge topics in transport research.
We opened the seminar with a keynote speech by Prof. Avishai (Avi) Ceder from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, moderated by Prof. Akimasa Fujiwara. His talk, “Challenges with Artificial Intelligence and Policy Trends for Future Urban Public Transport Service”, sparked a stimulating discussion on the evolving role of AI in public transportation planning.
