Mr. La Hoang Anh won two consecutive awards for excellent students granted by Hiroshima University

Mr. La Hoang Anh, the third-year Ph.D. student at the Laboratory of Plant Physiology and Biochemistry (XUAN Lab), has won two prestigious awards for excellent students of Hiroshima University.


Both certificates were grated by the President of Hiroshima University

The first prize so-called “2021 Hiroshima University Excellent Student Scholarship” was granted on December 13, 2021.

Especially, the second award is dedicated to students who had great academic contributions to the University through scientific papers (SCI only). This year, Mr. Hoang Anh was honored to receive this noble award, together with other 5 students in the whole University.

These awards are fully deserved for the efforts of Mr. Hoang Anh during the last time. Hope you will keep up the good work and achieve more success.

Mr. Iuchi Yu won the best award for Master’s thesis

On February 16, 2022, with the perfect performance and well-written thesis, Mr. Iuchi Yu has been granted the best prize for his Master’s thesis by the Head of Development Science Field, Transdisciplinary Science and Engineering (TSE) Program, Graduate School of Advanced Science and Engineering, Hiroshima University.

This award is fully deserved for the efforts of Mr. Yu during his Master’s course. Hope this will be a great encouragement for your future work and is an important milestone in your life.

Xuan sensei had a talk about sharing experience in agricultural digital: Perspectives from Japan to Vietnam

On September 16, 2021, Xuan sensei performed a speech entitled “Agricultural digital transformation and application of science and technology in agriculture in Japan” at a Virtual Conference & Virtual Studio Event “Vietnam Agriculture Digital Transformation International Forum 2021: Keeping up with market trends, ensuring the pivotal role of the economy during and after Covid-19 pandemic”.

The speech received much attention from domestic and international scientists and delegates.

In the current context that the Japan-Vietnam cooperative relationship is getting better, the experience in Agriculture Digital Transformation in Japan shared by Xuan sensei is important and essential for improvement and development of the agricultural sector of Vietnam.
